I teach elementary STEAM, as a specialist.  Students in Kindergarten – 5th Grade visit the STEAM Makerspace for 60 minutes, once a week.  I also see 4-year-old Kindergartners for 30 minutes a week.  I created a standards-aligned Scope and Sequence for our five units of study:

  • Digital Communications

  • Robots and Control Technology

  • Circuitry

  • Scientific Data and Analysis

  • Mechanics and Structures

Click the arrow below to access the Elementary Scope and Sequence:  Google Sheets Document.

In the document you’ll notice several tabs at the bottom.  The first is our six year rotation.  It also  has links at the top that lead to our FRAMEWORK UNITS, which detail each of the five units listed above, along with a Frameworks Addendum, that links to all unit/lesson resources.

The remaining tabs are my standards review information.  Standards were pulled from the following content areas:

  • Common Core Math Standards

  • Next Generation Science Standards

  • Information and Technology Literacy Standards (WI)

  • Career Technology Education Standards (WI)

  • Computer Science Standards (WI)

Let me know if you have any questions!  #HappyPlanning
