Tools & Attachments Challenge

After purchasing way too many hot glue gun sticks last year, I was beginning to think my students thought hot glue guns were the answer to all their attachment needs. In an effort to equip my students with strategies and skills for attaching pieces together during their challenges, I started this year off with an attachment techniques lesson/challenge (as well as a tools safety review).

Students were presented with several attachment techniques and challenged with the task of creating something using recyclables.

After the challenge I created an anchor chart for future reference.
